I'm looking for a moisturizer with SPF 15 +, nothing expensive and something I can find in Canada. I also have sensitive acne prone skin.
What is your favourite perfume? What is your boyfriend's favourite scent on you?
Unfortunately my boyfriend dislikes my favourite perfume so I am on the look for a new one!

I know this gets asked a lot but I can't find the post
1. What type of bed rails do you recommend for a twin bed?
2. Also my daughter has a convertible crib, that she doesn't use. Im debating on if I should turn it into the toddler bed or go straight to the full bed. The full bed I could lay down with her to nurse her to sleep. Any thoughts or personal stories?
ETA: These questions are about two different kids, in two different homes :)

so i have a bunch of questions for you girls & guys!
- What is a good face exfoliater? It is currently winter and as we all know how dry our faces become. So I was wondering what products you girls have used to take some of that dry skin off to leave your skin feeling smooth. (Incase you wanted to know i guess i have a combination skin type? Can be dry but can also be oily. I have some pimples but barely any and they are just from stress/period) Oh and something that can take care of blackheads (i have TONS on my nose)
- I straighten my hair every day. Yes i know, bad. Anyways i am looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. I have thin ridiculously curly hair. I also have dandruff (not a bad case where it shows, i am just always itching...i guess bad habit). I am looking for a shampoo and conditioner that is either a heat therapy one or a dandruff one. I have THIN hair so something that is extra mosturizing probably wouldnt be a good idea because it will make my hair very greasy. Some options I have been looking at are Dove Heat Defense Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner and the Chi Infra Shampoo & Conditioner. Does anyone have any ideas???
Well i have blonde highlights on my medium brown hair, and i went to the stylist to get my roots done and now i have like little pieces of red on when it used to be brown hair and a little on the blonde (on my bangs)?
What can i do to fix this? i have no pictures right now sorry :(

I've been growing my hair out for about a year now and I'm just now starting to get sick of it. it's taking way too lng to blowdry and style. and im just getting super bored with it. i also cant seem to get it to grow past the point it's at now (no matter how healthy i try to keep it/trimming off dead ends when needed.) i think my hair just doesnt want to grow much more. it always has a mind of it's own.
my hair now... pardon how greasy it looks in this first picture haha but its one o the most recent and shows my length pretty well

( and this is what i'm thinking of. )
opinions? or ideas/suggestions? anything will help!
thanks!

Hello peoples! :)
I was wanting to get some fragrance, specifically by Jennifer Lopez. She currently has 6 out right now ("My Glow", "Glow", "Sunkissed Glow", "Live", "Deseo", and "Still".). I was wondering if anyone had tried any of them? And if so, was there one that you like alot or is atleast notable?
Also, I'm a hard-core Coconut fan. xD I just bought some wonderful coconut sugar scrub and the 'Exotic Coconut' body splash from Bath and Body Works. Could anyone recommend any other coconut-scented beauty products? I'm interested in everything, really. xD
[Except the Oragnic Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner. That worked horribly for me.]
Thank you kindly! <33

I must finally confess that I need hair halp.
I've had every colour under the sun in the past ten or so years. But I seem to lack much creativity when it comes to a cut that actually works for me - this is mostly in part because I feel like the shape of my face (aka a circle) doesn't really have a suitable style, in my case at least.
So here's part of a hair history just to show the different things I've had.
( hair history..it's pretty long )
I hope someone can help/make some reccomendations cause I'm at my wits end with what I can do. Ideally I want to keep a fair amount of the length but liven it up a little? And while I miss being blonde (because it dried it out enough I didn't have to wash it every freaking day) I'm not sure if I can pull it off at all. Also I'm fairly sure I have to have a fringe, but I have no idea how long/what side/ how heavy etc.

My friend's cat Holly; I suspect she decided that her species required representation along with the camels, cattle and lambs.

My friend isn't sure what to do with hair hair once it fades and her roots start coming in, I'm not sure if I should bleach mine before coloring it.

I got a sick baby for Christmas.
I have a 6-month-old (on New Year's Day!) baby boy who is teething, has an ear infection, RSV/bronchiolitis, and chickenpox. Luckily, his fever hasn't gone above 102, but we're watching it, and the pox are not at the itching stage yet, but I think that will start tomorrow.
Is there anything I can do for him other than nurse on demand and snuggle him?
Specifically chickenpox-related... I don't remember having it when I was little (althoug I'm sure I did), so I don't remember what helped...

( Cut for non-detailed triggers regarding holiday-related triggers and associations )
This week's questions:
- Is there a holiday which is triggering to you? Which holiday?
- What do you associate with that holiday/why is the holiday triggering?
- What coping skills or practices help you most during your holiday-related triggers?

would it be better to give my 2.5yo a square or two normal milk chocolate, or dairy-free, sugar-free stuff?
I have blocks of both and I'm not a big milk chocolate eater so I may as well share.

hey everyone :)
i used to have bright blonde hair but after using a box dye on it (which was marked honey blonde!) it is now a dark brown which is okay but i miss my blonde :(
i know that to bleach back to blonde would KILL my hair (as it was bleached blonde to begin with) so is colour stripper an option?
i dont know much about it, and it would probably kill my hair just as much as bleach :(
does anyone have any suggestions?
thank you!!

for those of you who take biotin, or used to take it, i am curious - what's your daily dosage? and does it have any side-effects that are bothersome? (eg: acne, etc)
please help! thanks!

1. Anyone's kiddo ever have an ingunial hernia? Jake's pedi is thinking he has one and we're waiting to set up a urologist appointment to get it checked out. Any experience with it would be appreciated, I don't really know what to expect. They're saying it might need surgery, which would suck.
2. Any ideas on how I can get him to stop screaming at the top of his lungs in the car? It only happens at night. We've tried toys, pacifier, music, singing, clapping our hands, one of us always sits back there with him with the light on...nothing works. I was wondering if his hernia was bothering him, then I realized it only happens at night. Magical tricks to make it stop?

I know I just recently posted but a helpful comment has led me to a color choice! -cheers- So, I need a red that isn't too vibrant because I go to a private school. HELP! =)

In my previous post, I wrote "While having sex with my boyfriend, the condom leaked, it didn't break, it just made a pool under us... We had sex on a Thursday and I got my ovulation fluid (the egg white type) on Saturday." I've read that it takes 13 to 16 days after ovulation to get your period, I'm on the 15th day and I've been having a creamy white dischage for what seems like over a week. I took the pill for over a week after that night to do what I could to prevent the possible pregnancy. So I got my egg white fluid, took the pill for a week, then its been about 8 days since so should I expect my period soon or am I late? Are the odds of pregnancy high?
1. I was thinking about visiting a makeup counter at a department store (or perhaps MAC or Sephora) and getting a sales person to show me how to do a natural, everyday look that would just enhance my features. I usually just wear mascara and lip gloss, but I want to add products like brown eyeliner, foundation, and highlighter to my routine.
Which department store brands do you recommend, and which tend to have the most knowledgeable and helpful sales associates?
2. What are the best shampoos/conditioners and hair products to repair and prevent split ends?
Thank you guys! :)
